Novator Test Rig Architecture is a ready-to-run but highly flexible software architecture. It is ideal for creating automated test systems and measurement systems on any scale, from small and manual table-top measurement, to fully automatic and distributed test systems. It shortens the development time, and ensures modularity that allows for future reuse.

The test rig architecture has all the fundamental components needed in an automated test system:

It can be used in its entirety on a single machine, but just as easily allow the control and measurements to be deployed on one or several Real-Time units. The same software architecture can scale from a manual tabletop logging aplication, to a fully automated, distributed and headless test system. Because of this, you can start your application small, but grow fast, with minimal rework.
Thanks to its flexibility, it has been used in a variety of applications. This means that it has been tested and debugged, making each new implementation stronger than the last. At the same time, it has been improved and augmented with new hardware support, reporting options and control capabilities.
