Novator Test Rig Architecture is a ready-to-run but highly flexible software architecture. It is ideal for creating automated test systems and measurement systems on any scale, from small and manual table-top measurement, to fully automatic and distributed test systems. It shortens the development time, and ensures modularity that allows for future reuse.

 

Key Features

The test rig architecture has all the fundamental components needed in an automated test system:

  • A hardware abstraction layer that enables incorporation of any type of data acquisition and control instrumentation

  • A stand-alone measurement and control engine that allows headless execution

  • A sequencing engine and configurator to create and execute test and measurement scripts

  • Data visualization user interface that shows data from day one, but can be customized for increased user friendliness and visual impact

  • Data storage modules for automated reporting and database integration

  • Centralized error handling for safe execution and simpler troubleshooting

The existing functionality allows for agile development of test rigs, as it is functional from day one, but all parts can be customized or replaced individually.
