Unlike measuring equipment that sends data via mobile telephony networks, satellite-based telemetry does not rely on having a base station nearby. Our measurement stations have equally good coverage anywhere in the world, regardless of latitude and longitude. Our Remote Measurement products are used by companies and authorities that need to measure and monitor aquatic environments, machinery and equipment, and weather conditions.

Novator Solutions’ equipment has been developed to operate for an extended period under difficult conditions. It is classified for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C and rated as an IP65 enclosure in terms of dust and moisture protection.

Our measurement stations are self-sufficient in terms of both operation and communication systems. They are equipped with batteries that have a service life of between 10 and 15 years. The batteries are charged continuously through the equipment’s solar cells. All data is sent by satellite, so neither cables or ground-based networks are necessary.


Our CatchR stations are tailored for easy deployment, even in extremely remote areas and harsh environments. Being battery powered and charged by solar panels makes them completely self-sufficient in terms of power.


LevelCatchR measures water levels in lakes, dams, rivers, tanks, and water reservoirs. It also measures groundwater levels and temperatures. You can receive alerts about any deviations by e-mail or text message. It is also easy to follow up and compare historical data.

By default, LevelCatchR is equipped with either a differential pressure sensor or an ultrasonic sensor to measure fluid level. Additionally, it can be specially equipped with extra sensors to measure information such as particle content, salinity, and conductivity.

LevelCatchR can also be used to measure oil or petrol levels (with EX-classified level transmitters suitable for this purpose). For oil companies, it is crucial to detect theft or leakage in oil storage tanks as early as possible. From a logistics standpoint, it is also essential to know the contents of the oil storage tanks.

FlowCatchR measures water flow and water depth in rivers, canals, culverts, and spillways. FlowCatchR sends alerts by e-mail or text message; for example, when water depth deviates from the norm. You can also look at historical data and compare it with current values.

The two most common ways to measure flow with FlowCatchR are either directly by using a Doppler radar or indirectly by measuring levels in a weir. As with the LevelCatchR, it can be equipped with extra sensors.

WeatherCatchR measures and reports weather conditions. These conditions can include temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity, precipitation, wind speed, and wind direction.

WeatherCatchR is ideal for monitoring weather conditions at remote locations where there is no infrastructure and where it is difficult to have manned weather stations. Our weather stations are solar-powered, and they send measurement values and reports of weather conditions continuously via satellite.

Our equipment is combined with appropriate measuring equipment. If you have several WeatherCatchR units, you can easily compare and read reports from all stations on your computer.

AlarmCatchR is used to monitor diesel-powered generators, pumps, and machines in remote locations where there is no infrastructure for power or communications. With AlarmCatchR, you can monitor equipment at all times.

When there is no electricity to power equipment such as pumps, base stations for GSM, and other energy-demanding machines, diesel-powered power stations or generators are often used. The machines are often unsupervised and have to operate for long periods without disruption.

As a result, it is particularly important to receive alerts as soon as anything stops working as it should. Whenever there is a change in the status of the equipment, the AlarmCatchR sends an alert by e-mail or text message. Then you can quickly dispatch resources to fix the problem.

CatchR∙Link transfers data from remote sensors right into your SCADA system. With CatchR∙Link, it is easy to add sensors and alarm points to your SCADA system so that you can receive data from remote, otherwise inaccessible, locations.

A CatchR∙Link station located close to the SCADA system receives data via GPRS or satellite from CatchR measuring stations. Then this measurement data is made available for the SCADA system using, for example, Modbus RTU.

CatchR Base Station

CatchR Base Station is needed to remotely measure and transmit data. This unit can communicate with a number of different external sensors by, for example, RS485 and TCP/IP. By connecting various sensors to the base unit, you can adapt the CatchR Base Station to measure just about anything, anywhere, and anytime.

CatchR Base Station does not require extensive cabling as no external power supply is required, and it can remain in place for several years in the roughest weather without needing to be serviced.

The measuring equipment is self-sufficient in terms of electricity. It is powered by solar cells and has rechargeable batteries with an extremely long service life.

Installing a CatchR measurement station is very simple. After installation, measurement data starts being sent to your computer via satellite without your needing to be on-site to read the instruments. You can even receive updated measurement values and statistics every hour of every day of the year if you want.
